Tapovan has been teaching yoga, breathwork and meditation for 12 years and has been a dedicated practitioner for 20. He is a Tantrik initiate and studied extensively with his Masters in India. He is the co-founder of Ascension Journeys and the Tryambaka Yoga School. His mission is to provide tools and guidance for the ascension of mankind by raising awareness and re-establishing interconnectedness within oneself and our entire community. MANO UWISHIN

Medicine Shaman

Mano is a ‘Uwishin’ medicine shaman, a healer and singer from an ancestral lineage of Amazonian Shuar healing traditions in Ecuador. He has been working with plant medicine for over 20 years and guides people with ancestral Shuar ayahuasca songs and traditional instruments such as the Shuar violin, vocal harp, drum, flutes and harmonicas.

Mano also performs ‘Temazcal’ sweat lodge ceremonies, sauna healings and holistic massages with warm oils of Ayurvedic Abhyanga and shamanic methods. He works with Barbara, a professional Harp player dedicated to singing and medicine music, and Juanito, an assisting ceremony healer, a medicine singer and a master musician.

Tapovan has been teaching yoga, breathwork and meditation for 12 years and has been a dedicated practitioner for 20. He is a Tantrik initiate and studied extensively with his Masters in India. He is the co-founder of Ascension Journeys and the Tryambaka Yoga School. His mission is to provide tools and guidance for the ascension of mankind by raising awareness and re-establishing interconnectedness within oneself and our entire community. Medicine Shaman

Mano is a ‘Uwishin’ medicine shaman, a healer and singer from an ancestral lineage of Amazonian Shuar healing traditions in Ecuador. He has been working with plant medicine for over 20 years and guides people with ancestral Shuar ayahuasca songs and traditional instruments such as the Shuar violin, vocal harp, drum, flutes and harmonicas.

Mano also performs ‘Temazcal’ sweat lodge ceremonies, sauna healings and holistic massages with warm oils of Ayurvedic Abhyanga and shamanic methods. He works with Barbara, a professional Harp player dedicated to singing and medicine music, and Juanito, an assisting ceremony healer, a medicine singer and a master musician.

Reiki is an energy healing technique with Japanese origins. Reiki can help ease tension or stress and nourish the body’s vital functions while releasing blockages. This energetic tool creates a calming environment for more profound physical, mental, and emotional healing.

The word reiki comes from the Japanese word “Rei,” which means “universal life,” and “Ki,” which means “energy.” Therefore, reiki uses the universal life force chi, prana, that flows within the physical body through pathways called chakras, meridians, and nadis to support ones overall well-being.

Reiki is an energy healing technique with Japanese origins. Reiki can help ease tension or stress and nourish the body’s vital functions while releasing blockages. This energetic tool creates a calming environment for more profound physical, mental, and emotional healing.

The word reiki comes from the Japanese word “Rei,” which means “universal life,” and “Ki,” which means “energy.” Therefore, reiki uses the universal life force chi, prana, that flows within the physical body through pathways called chakras, meridians, and nadis to support ones overall well-being.

We gather together to converse on the power rituals bring and share ways our herbal allies can contribute to our overall spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing. During this conversation we will focus on how to define a ritual, how we can strive to use our intentions to bring rituals into our busy daily lives all with the help of plant allies, and share ways we currently connect with self through plants and rituals. In this expanding experience we will also dive into ourselves through a tea ceremony and make herbal smudge bundles to release anything keeping us from obtaining goals. Join us as we create an altar of awareness to better connect with our inner source through herbs and ritual work.

Our Apothecary is composed of the most pristine, and medicinal botanicals found in nature. We are devoted to providing the freshest and most vibrant herbal formulas. Anima Mundi’s roots are within the heart of Costa Rica. Harm Reduction family love feast will be offering dinner followed by a cacao ceremony lead by founder of Akashic Remedies, Le’ Jai’ La Troi and Paola Guerrero.


Cacao is known as theobroma cacao which derives from Greek meaning “food of the gods” Cacao is a great source of magnesium, vitamins, antioxidants, theobromine, releases serotonin and other endorphins. It a great plant to bring happiness and expand the heart space while aligning the mind. In this ceremony we will guide you through a healing sound journey.

New York Harm Reduction Educators (NYHRE) is a non-profit social services organization devoted to promoting the health, safety and well-being of marginalized, low-income persons who use drugs, their loved ones and their communities using a harm reduction modality. This is a population that includes a large number of individuals that rely on commercial and survival sex for basic subsistence, people recently released from New York State and City correctional facilities, as well as a significant number of individuals who identify as LGBTQ or are engaged in same-sex relationships.

Meta TransFormation Full Moon Howl is a space for folks to engage in healing practices provided by our community for our community. Rituals are an important part of our daily lives, whether it is a morning ritual of making a cup of coffee, to a favorite podcast, or an evening of mantras in an herbal bath. In this conversation we will focus on how to define a ritual, how we can strive to use our intentions to bring rituals into our busy daily lives, all with the help of plant allies. During this conversation circle we will share how we currently connect to rituals, various ways to use herbs in rituals (including baths, tea, smudges and limpias). We will look at the properties of certain herbs including CBD and how to use them mentally, physically and spiritually to enhance rituals with ourselves, community and the world. The body is the ultimate temple, let us create an altar of awareness to better connect with our inner source through herbs and ritual work.

Complementary herbal tea will be provided and we will make herbal smudge bundles to take home. Tasting of CBD in session.

Tapping into the harmonizing and empowering energies of the Libra full moon will illuminate those areas of ourselves and our lives that feel out of balance, and together, we will invite healing into those spaces. During this transformative ceremony, we will work with meditation, reiki healing energy, herbs, astrology, and the power of our collective intentions and personal magic. We will aim to unlock our potential for  balance within ourselves, and gain a certain peace with all aspects of our inner worlds, both the blissful and the challenging. Our intention in doing this work is to become whole beings of light and secure in ourselves, so that we may spread love and harmony, help others authentically and without our own depreciation, and enact the most good in the world
